Should you ever find yourself outside of your wireless carrier’s own mobile network, take heart, help is still just a phone call away. Just dial 112 and your cell phone signal will search for the nearest existing wireless network, regardless of what carrier owns or uses it, and you will shortly be put in touch with emergency personnel. This works even if your cell phone keypad is locked.

Remote Keyless Entry, Cell Phone Style: If you’ve locked your keys in your vehicle, and your vehicle uses remote keyless entry then you can call whomever has or is near your spare remote and they can open the door for you from the other end of the line!
